| Connection, by Rebekah Griffin Greene August 12, 2010 I wrote this song at the Walden Teacher Training Intensive in Dublin, New Hampshire. It poured out of me in a little under 2 hours. I performed it at the open mic on the last night, and lots of people liked it. I came home and recorded it in my living room, playing my bass and singing at the same time. UPDATE: Then I decided to have a REAL recording done in October, by my dear friends Hubert Eaves III and House at High Praise Recording Studio http://highpraiserecording.com/Home_Page_H54X.html. I don't usually do this style, but I think I may have hit upon something big, and also found a way to really express what I've been going through in the past few years. Usually I'd type the lyrics/poetry, but my diction is pretty clear. I hope that this song will help anyone who is going through tough times in their relationships! |
